Big, chunky, round, bulbous, clustered, spherical necklaces dominate right now! Your jeans and t-shirt ensemble will sure say to you, " You complete me." - BH Here are some of my favorites:
Are you mad about saffron? No. Do they call it mellow yellow? Hardly. And what sunny disposition? Not to be found in this frigid economic climate. The bright news is that Pantone coined the color Mimosa as the color of 2009! This sunny hue is sure to enliven any dismal interior or brighten a tiring wardrobe. Not to mention, it is a lovely bloom that grows in abundance, unlike that money tree in your backyard! And if you're considering downsizing from mansion to rental apartment, don't worry...this cheery color makes a room feel more spacious and works with several palettes! And no need to go full gorilla - one painted wall or upholstered chair will give you the right amount of much needed optimism! And if all else fails...drown your sorrows (but not your bank account) in a bottle of delicious Veuve Cliquot champagne- made into a mimosa of course! A fabulous girl may be broke, but never poor! Cheers! - BH
Dries Van Noten's Fall 2009 collection has us thinking of new chic color combos. We are loving his creations inspired by the shades of Francis Bacon's paintings. Pink, beige, mauve, orange... all mixed and mashed together - haphazardly color chic. - KL
